Tata Motors launches Prima range of trucks in Qatar
Tata Motors and its partners Al Hamad Automobiles, have launched three new next generation heavy trucks from its Prima range, in Qatar.
The Tata Prima range started in 2008. It comes with an Italian cab design, chassis frame from Mexico and engine technology from the USA and Europe. The power train of all three vehicles embodies the latest engine technology from Cummins Inc, capable of producing an output of 380HP. The cabins have been restyled, focusing on driver comfort. The cockpit has separate driver's working and living area. Air conditioned cabins with ample space, reclining seats with arm rests, adjustable steering system, easy access to the dashboard, great controls in all conditions along with a music system, etc are some of the highlights of this vehicle range. GPS (Global Positioning System) is a standard feature.
The models which were introduced in Qatar include the 4438 S (4X2) Tractor Head, 4038K (6X4) Construction Tipper and 4738K (8X4) on and off road tipper.
