Toyota U-Trust expands its business to 59 markets across 19 states in India
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has expanded its U-Trust used car business in India by widening its branches across 59 markets in 19 states. They aim to cater to a wider audience by offering a better experience in the used car business.
Toyota U-Trust which was launched in 2007 is in the business of buying and selling used Toyota and non-Toyota cars. It offers the customers an opportunity to exchange their old cars for a brand new Toyota or a used Toyota of the same value. The used car market captures a 30 per cent higher market share than the newer ones and Toyota wishes to make full use of this gap that most other car manufacturers ignore.

All the used cars sold through Toyota U-Trust are put through a detailed inspection consisting of a 203 point checklist on the condition of the car. It also provides a warranty of 2 years and 30,000kms on its certified cars. Cars are certified after the inspection of its condition, documentation, and service history by the employees who are put through almost five months of training.
