Unveiled 2013 BMW Zagato Roadster
BMW has lifted wraps off the 2013 Zagato Roadster at Pebble Beach. A low-set kidney grille, complete with z-design grating, as well as twin circular headlights and a three-dimensional front apron round off the front end of the Zagato roadster. Zagato is said to have built this roadster within six weeks, to make it ready for the unveiling at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2012. While most of the elements have been retained from the coupe, the roadster's rear end has been completely redesigned. Visually, Zagato has decided to concentrate much of the mass towards the rear axle, with those leather-wrapped roll bars deserving a special mention. Then there is the trademark double-bubble roof. The interiors have been largely carried over unchanged from the coupe.
