Unveiled - 2013 Triumph Tiger Explorer XC
Triumph's new Explorer XC is based on the Explorer 1200 but is built as a harder core off-roader, aimed at the Adventure version of the BMW R1200GS. The XC gets alloy rims on its spoked wheels, comprehensive crash bars, hand guards, fog lights and an aluminium bash plate. The engine is unchanged - 1215cc, 135PS, shaft drive. The XC also gets ride by wire, cruise and traction control systems and ABS that you can switch off for off-road work.
