Varroc Lighting Systems wins India Automotive Lighting Technology Innovation Leadership Award

Varroc Lighting Systems India Limited has won the India Automotive Lighting Technology Innovation Leadership Award at the Frost & Sullivan's GIL 2016 summit that was held recently in Mumbai. The company was recognised for its path-breaking innovations while adding new customers, both national and international, to its portfolio. Varroc is responsible for introducing products like LED headlamps, Matrix LED headlights and adaptive LED headlamps.

Frost & Sullivan is a market research and analysis company while the GIL (Growth Innovation and Leadership) 2016 summit honours companies that exhibited an exceptional performance in their respective fields. Varroc, along with other companies, were judged on the basis of revenue growth, market share growth and impact of technology application diversity. After in-depth interviews with industry participants, Frost & Sullivan's analysts conducted their own research. A panel of jury members then assessed the researched data and correlated this to the end user's perspective. Companies with the highest rankings in the respective fields were awarded, and Varroc stood out from its competition.

Todd Morgan, senior vice president - global product development, Varroc Lighting Systems, was elated on receiving the award and dedicated it to the company's employees. He also highlighted Varroc's 135-year experience in the field of automobile exterior lights as a key reason that helped the company clinch the award.

Varroc Lighting Systems manufactures headlamps, tail lights, signal lamps, auxiliary lamps, projector systems and electronic control modules. Its customers include Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Mahindra, Volvo and Volkswagen.
