Video worth watching: Ken Block is back with Gymkhana 8
Ken Block is back with another one of his tyre-burning Gymkhana videos. If you thought that it just couldn't get better than Gymkhana 7, you were wrong and how! This time Ken Block takes it to the streets of Dubai with his 650PS Ford Fiesta RX43 instead of the all-wheel drive Hoonicorn Mustang. His Fiesta has some fancy new reflective livery which you'll be able to see if you pay close attention especially during the slow-motion frames.
The video starts off with Block doing some basic dune bashing on the outskirts after which he enters the city. There he is met by the Dubai police force with their collection of exotic supercars on Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the busiest roads there. From what we hear, this road has only ever been shut once before the shooting of this video. He then heads up a ramp to line up for a drag with some more gorgeous exotics, the names of which, we'll leave as a surprise for you. From there he goes on to burn some rubber near the Burj Khalifa, the Al Qasr hotel and then the Fujairah International Airport. Here, Block runs circles around a decommissioned Boeing 747 while it is being towed.
