Virat Kohli picks up his Audi R8 LMX
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has just added another Audi to his garage. The young sportsman now owns a brand new Audi R8 LMX - a model that was recently launched in the country.
Virat Kohli's new ride is one of only 99 R8 LMXs to be built by Audi. While receiving his new ride, Virat Kohli said, "I am delighted with my new limited edition super sportscar Audi R8 LMX. I am especially proud and excited to be one of only 99 owners of this special car. I have always loved automobiles and have been an admirer of Audi. I already own an Audi R8 and Audi Q7. I am looking forward to some exciting drives with this new machine."
The keys were handed over by the head of Audi India, Joe King who said, "Audi has always been a brand for young achievers who have made it big and want to celebrate their achievement and their individuality. Audi R8 LMX is a perfect choice for Virat, as both exemplify brilliant innovation in their performances."
The Audi R8 LMX is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 that produces 570PS of power and 540Nm of torque. The car also comes with laser headlamps that offer twice the beam range of an all LED headlight. The car is priced in India at Rs 2.97 crore.
