Volkswagen Vento Konekt launched with feature-rich infotainment
Volkswagen has announced the availability of a limited edition Vento Konekt, which features a Blaupunkt infotainment system that is capable of satellite navigation and Bluetooth telephony. It features a 7-inch touchscreen interface and has connectivity compatibility with USB, auxiliary and iPhone / iPod inputs.
The infotainment system stretches its capabilities to the rear seat as well, with an additional 8-inch Android-powered tablet that has a dual-sim functionality. With 3G connectivity, the tablet offers the rear-seat passengers an entertainment package consisting of live television, internet radio, weather and stock market updates and of course, the all-so-important social-media feed. Essentially, being a tablet, it allows you to do almost everything that a regular 3G-enabled tablet and its apps would.
The seats get leatherette upholstery and the 'Konekt' badging is visible on the boot lid and scuff plates. The Konekt package will be offered on the Comfortline and Highline trims, for a limited period, at no extra cost.

This high-end tablet allows users to access social media apps like Facebook and Twitter, use Google Maps for navigation, make video calls with a 3G data connection and even find the nearest Volkswagen dealer/service centre. Leatherette seat covers and 'Konekt' badging on the boot and on the scuff plates completes the Konekt package.
