Subscribe: April 2017 Issue

Hello and a very good day to you! And what makes this such a great day, you might ask. Well, the April issue of OVERDRIVE, of course! That's right, the latest issue of OVERDRIVE is now available on a bookstand nearest to you. And this month, as always, we've got a bunch of very interesting reads.

To begin with, we went to the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and have written very detailed reports on all the new buzz in the automotive industry. This, of course, includes all the information you need to know on Tata's first thoroughbred sportscar, the Tamo Racemo. We also spoke with Land Rover, Ferrari and Volvo officials to get a peek at what they have planned for India.

Coming back here, Rahul heads to Goa to drive Honda's WR-V, to find out if it's more than just a jacked-up Jazz. Once he did, he took the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, a rather oddly positioned car, and compared it against all the cars in its price bracket. This means more than just one segment. He takes the new Hyundai Grand i10 from the hatchback segment, the Volkswagen Ameo from the compact sedan segment and the Mahindra KUV100 from the oddly positioned segment. Does the Ignis justify its price tag? Read his story to find out.

Aditya, meanwhile, heads to Delhi where he drives two new cars in India – the Tata Tigor and the 2017 Toyota Prius. One's got a new boot and the other produces less soot. Lijo, who was also in Delhi, was out at the BIC driving Maruti Suzuki's new Volkswagen Polo GT competitor, the Baleno RS.

Shumi's been busy riding all the new bikes on the block. So yes, this means the new KTM Dukes – the 200, 250 and 390. He was also out to find out if the new Triumph Bonneville T100 makes more sense than the Harley-Davidson Roadster. Rishaad, on the other hand, went to Goa to ride the Yamaha FZ25. Is it just a grown-up version of the FZ16? Maybe. Maybe not. Rishabh, meanwhile, was quietly buzzing around the city in a new electric scooter from India – the Okinawa Ridge – trying to save the planet.

In the features section, Bob was trying to see if horsepower could match horse power at the 2017 Horse Endurance Championship, in a Polaris RZR 800. He also headed out to the Bhogilal Museum to give us a good history lesson on automobiles in India. Rahul, on the other hand, wrote his first two-wheeler review. It was on the Hero Lectro Ozone, an electrically assisted bicycle. But Rishabh, as always, butted in where he wasn't invited with his electric scooter, claiming it was better. Finally, Rishaad heads over to the MMRT in Chennai to learn everything about becoming a better motorcyclist at the California Superbike School.

In the motorsport section, Vaishali tells us just what our Indian motorsport heroes are up to in international championships. Rahul, meanwhile, heads to the seaside to tell us all about the latest motorsport event in India, the Nexa P1 Powerboat Championship. Aditya, on the other hand, went to Chennai to cover the fourth round of the 2016 MRF Challenge.

All this and more in the April issue of OVERDRIVE. So head out and grab your copy!
