Knee room and shoulder room are identical, which translates to comfortable seating for three at the rear. Mahindra quotes 330 litres of boot space making it quite spacious.
The engine and gearbox are also a straight lift from the Verito which means you get the proven Renault K9K 1.5 litre engine. This is the eight-valve version and there's 65PS/160Nm on tap. Going by the Verito, expect a linear power delivery and easy drivability. Expect greatàefficiencyàâÂ" Mahindra quotes an ARAI figure of 20.8 kmpl. No petrol engine is on offer for the moment.
Three variants are on offer âÂ" D2, D4 and D6. The top D6 variant gets ABS with EBD and one airbag for the driver. Smart looking 'champagne' alloy wheels are also on offer. The car comes in a choice of seven colours.
The Verito Vibe ÃÂ has been priced between Rs 5.63 lakh and Rs 6.49 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai.
