2014 Mercedes-Benz A-Class and B-Class Edition 1 launched in India
Mercedes-Benz has launched the Edition 1 variants of the A-Class and B-Class hatchbacks in India. Price for the A-Class Edition 1 is Rs 26.1 lakh and for the B-Class Edition 1 is Rs 28.75, ex-Mumbai. There are three colours to choose from- white, silver and red.
Both the A-Class and B-Class Edition 1 variants are limited to only 100 units each. They are available only in diesel form. The additional features in the A- and B-Class Edition 1 over the regular A180CDI and B180 CDI include a striped decal which runs along the side skirts, glossy black rear view mirrors and new alloy wheel design. The ground clearance has also increased and on the inside, there are cup holders on the centre arm rest at the rear. Apart from that, the rear seat passengers get two LCD screens and a DVD player. Conventional proximity warning LEDs are further complemented by a reverse camera. There is also a panoramic sunroof on offer and the front passenger seat gets memory function.
