2014 TVS Scooty Zest India image gallery
TVS has opened sales of its new Scooty Zest in India at a price of Rs 42,300 ex-Delhi. The new scooter is an evolution of the original Scooty which along with the Wego and Jupiter have helped the company to have a 15 per cent market share in the country. That being said, the Zest will sell alongside the Pep+ and Streak. The scooter looks quite funky with the blacked out wheels, chunky end can and LED tail lamp. We believe it will definitely strike a chord with the target customer: 18-24 year olds. We will be riding the new TVS Scooty Zest tomorrow. For the time being, you can chew on these images of the latest scooter from TVS
While the silhouette remains the same, the new Scooty Zest has definitely grown in size
The headlamp has a Wego-ish appeal to it
The badging on the scooter looks subtly done
110mm and 130mm drums on the front and rear respectively help bring the scooter to a halt
"A highly useful feature is a novel open glove box where the rider can keep her small artefacts." TVS' words not ours
The underseat storage is the highest in its segment, again TVS' words
The snazzy looking LED tail lamp of the new TVS Scooty Zest
The painted switch panels of the new TVS Scooty Zest
The meter dials of the new Scooty are simple and done in a white background
The engine has now been upgraded to a 110cc one from the Jupiter/Wego
The contrast stitching on the seat looks tastefully done. Note the chunky alloy grab rail and clear lens indicators
