Yamaha India has just launched the new FZ and FZ-S FI version 2.0. The company claims that the new FZ is lighter, faster and more fuel efficient. While we will shortly test these claims, what we have right now with us are images of the new motorcycle. The FZ, apart from the engine, also has a new chassis but still misses a rear disc brake. We have the  fresh photos for you, right here.

The exhaust and the muffler are all new
The head lamp design looks similar to the old motorcycle but has been updated slightly
The number plate holder bracket and tail lamp are new too
The all-digital instrument cluster is new and much easier to read
Yamaha still hasn't given the FZ update a rear disc brake, just a front one like before
New engine makes lesser power and torque than before but claims 14 per cent more fuel economy
Fuel injection tech is part of Blue Core, a new technology developed by Yamaha to make its motorcycles more fuel efficient
