2015 Volkswagen Jetta launched in India at Rs 13.87 lakh
Volkswagen has launched the new Jetta at Rs 13.87 lakh (ex-Mumbai) for the base, Trendline petrol, going all the way upto 19.77 lakh (ex-Mumbai) for the Highline diesel model that is equipped with Volkswagen's DSG transmission.
The car, which was recently reviewed by team Overdrive, comes with the option of a petrol or diesel engine. The petrol is a 1.4 TSI while the diesel is a 2.0 TDI. There are two variants on offer with the petrol, the Trendline and Comfortline. The diesel meanwhile comes with an additional trim, the Highline with the option of a six-speed manual transmission or the DSG.
Additional features include six airbags, Fatigue Detection System and Brakepad Wear Indication. The new Volswagen Jetta will battle with the Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Corolla and the Skoda Octavia.
