The 2018 Bobber Black is one of the two new Bonnevilles Triumph has unveiled (the other being the Bonneville Speedmaster), apart from opening up a new Visitor Experience Centre at its Hinckley factory in England. The standard Bobber is already on sale in India, and the Bobber Black is expected to go on sale next year. The Bobber Black is identical to the standard Bobber on the powertrain front, but there are a few important changes to cycle parts.
These changes include a smaller, 16-inch front wheel shod with a fatter 130-section tyre, fatter 47mm front forks and dual 310mm discs upfront. The engine is the same 1200cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin as the standard Bobber, offering 77PS and 106Nm, and comes mated to the same six-speed gearbox. Cruise control is a new addition on the electronics front, while ride-by-wire and Road and Rain riding modes are the same as before. Here's a detailed look at the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black.
