2021 MG Hector gets CVT option, priced at Rs 16.51 lakh
MG has launched 8-speed CVT on the Hector with prices starting from Rs 16.51 lakh, ex-showroom. With this introduction, the 2021 MG Hector petrol features diverse transmission options such as MT, Hybrid MT, CVT, and DCT. Also, MG confirmed that the CVT options will be offered on both, the 5-seater and the 6-seater Hector Plus as well. The Sharp variant of Hector CVT has been positioned at Rs 18.10 lakh, ex-showroom. The more premium 6-seater Smart and Sharp trims can be availed at Rs. 17.22 lakh and Rs 18.90 lakh respectively.

MG offers 5-year/Unlimited KMs warranty, 5-year Roadside Assistance, and Free Labour Charges for the first 5 periodic services on the Hector. The company also claims to provide the lowest maintenance cost starting at 45 paise per km for petrol and 60 paise per km for diesel variants (calculated up to 100,000 KMs of usage). The SUV features Hinglish commands, iSMART connected car technology, wireless charging, and ventilated seats, in addition to 360-degree parking camera, 6 airbags, thermopressed chrome grille, 18-inch dual-tone alloys, and dual-tone interior and exterior options.
