2022 BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition launched in India at Rs 68.90 lakh
BMW India has launched the limited edition BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition at Rs. 68.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition sedan that celebrates 50 years of BMW's high-performance M Division will be locally produced at the BMW Group facility in Chennai, and reservations for the same may be made from today on BMW's website.
Dravit Grey and Tanzanite Blue are the colour options for the BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition. A single border frames the substantial BMW Kidney Grille mesh inserts, which are divided into sections by broad bars that connect to the headlamp assemblies.
High-Gloss Black Kidney Grille, Jet-Black window surround, mirror caps, 19-inch M light-alloy wheels, 50 Jahre M roundel in the front and back, and wheel hub caps are exclusive to the 50 Jahre M version. The vehicle has variable-lumen adaptive LED headlights with BMW Laserlight that illuminate the road ahead.
BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition: Powertrain and DrivingAn 8-speed automatic gearbox with the xDrive system is standard on the M340i 50 Jahre M Edition, which is powered by a six-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine with 387PS and 500 Nm of torque. The M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M is the fastest made-in-India BMW, covering the 0 to 100 kmph race in 4.4 seconds.
The vehicle has special suspension parts from BMW M GmbH, including the M Sport suspension, variable sport steering and M Sport brake. Additionally, it comes with the M Sport differential, which enhances traction and driving stability for various road conditions, while changing lanes and when speeding out of bends.
BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition: Interiors
Sports seats with M-specific fabric and Sensatec/Alcantara trim are included in the 50 Jahre M Edition. A BMW Individual roof liner in Anthracite, an M leather steering wheel, an M seat belt, and Piano Black interior Individual trim strips are also included.
BMW Live Cockpit Professional, BMW Virtual Assistant, BMW Gesture Control, and Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto are just a few of the BMW ConnectedDrive technologies available. Other amenities include the Harman Kardon Surround Sound system, the Parking Assistant with Rear View Camera, the Reversing Assistant, the BMW Head-Up Display, and BMW Efficient Dynamics.
