2022 Lexus NX 350h exterior, dimensionsThe second-generation Lexus NX is now based on the Lexus New Global Architecture - K, which makes it related to the Toyota RAV4. The new Lexus SUV is 20mm longer, 20mm wider and 5mm taller as a result of this. More notably, the new architecture has brought with it a 50mm increase in wheelbase while front and rear tracks have grown by 35mm and 55mm respectively.
The second-generation Lexus NX also moves to Lexus' latest design theme. So the spindle grille has grown larger and more upright while the sharp cuts and creases around this are now more prominent. The earlier split headlamp look has now been replaced with a wider light cluster. The bodywork is also more aggressive now with its more prominent shapes and bulges replacing the sharper creases from earlier. The rear sees the most distinct changes from earlier, with the more prominent haunches and the new lighting arrangement with the L-Shaped LED taillamps and the full-width LED lightbar. The rear also sees the introduction of Lexus lettering in place of the logo.

Rear seat space has improved from earlier while there is a power-folding seatback.
The Lexus NX 350h also debuts the Lexus Safety System Plus suite of driver assistance systems. This includes a pre-collision alert system, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, cross-traffic alert and auto high-beam.
