2022 Tata Harrier XMS and XMAS mid-spec variants launched, prices start from Rs 17.20 lakh
Tata Motors has added a new mid-spec variant to the Tata Harrier SUV line-up. The new Harrier XMS sits above the XM and is priced at Rs 17.20 lakh. The automatic Harrier XMAS is priced at Rs 18.50 lakh.
2022 Tata Harrier XMS and XMAS featuresThe Tata Harrier XMS and XMAS get some notable feature additions over the XM/XMA. These include a panoramic sunroof, reversing camera, an eight-speaker audio system, Android Auto/Apple Carplay, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and electrically folding outer mirrors. Other features carried over from the Harrier XM are a 7-inch touchscreen, projector headlamps with DRLs, steering mounted controls, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, six-way manually adjustable driver's seat, front fog lamps and remote locking.
Safety features include two airbags, hill-hold, traction control, roll-over mitigation, corner stability control, brake disc wiping and ABS.
Tata Harrier engine, specificationsThe Tata harrier continues with the same engine and gearbox combination. It continues with the Stellantis-sourced 2.0-litre diesel that puts out 170PS and 350 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter.
Tata Harrier prices, rivalsPrices for the Tata Harrier start from Rs 14.65 lakh for the base XE variant and go up to Rs 21.95 lakh for the XZA Plus Dark Edition. The Harrier competes with numerous cars like the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
