2022 Volkswagen T-Roc facelift unveiled for the international markets
The T-Roc SUV from Volkswagen has been revealed for the European market in 2022. The Volkswagen T-Roc gets a mid-life facelift, with new features, modest cosmetic modifications, and a slew of technology.
A new pair of LED headlights, a new front bumper with freshly designed DRLs, and a reworked air inlet are all part of the T-Roc facelift. The crossover's front grille has been modified, and a light bar connects the headlights. The 2022 T-Roc also gets freshly designed alloy wheels in sizes ranging from 16 to 19 inches, as well as revised LED taillights.
The Volkswagen T-Roc is also available in Cabriolet and R-line versions, which are more performance-oriented. The T-Roc R-line is distinguished by a bigger air intake in the front, 18-inch Jerez alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and a multitude of driver-assistance technology.
Three petrol engines are available in the 2022 Volkswagen T-Roc facelift. A 109PS 1-litre TSI, a 150PS 1.5-litre TSI and a 189PS 2-litre TSI are among the options. A 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine with 112PS and 150PS is also available in two tuning options. All engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The revised dashboard of the 2022 T-Roc facelift has a 9.2-inch central touchscreen entertainment system with Volkswagen's WeConnect suite, as well as a Smartphone connection via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The crossover also receives a new 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, a redesigned multifunction steering wheel, revamped switchgear, and new door trims.
The T-Roc does go on sale in international markets next year and whether it will make its way to India or not, is a question only time will answer.
