South Korean automaker Kia has unveiled the all-new KA4, also known as the Carnival, at the 2023 Auto Expo. The KA4, which is essentially a renamed Carnival, has entered fourth-generation, bringing in new design language, a fresh interior, and a lot of techs.

The new KA4 features a completely overhauled exterior with an SUV-inspired design language. The key highlights of the KA4 include the signature tiger-nose grille with a diamond mesh pattern in chrome, slimmer LED headlamps, distinctive LED daytime driving lights, a full-length LED light adjoining taillights, and a fresh set of wheels. Notably, it retains the powered sliding doors. The fourth-generation KA4 is longer and wider with an additional wheelbase of 30mm, which stands at 3,090mm.
Kia KA4 (Carnival): Interior
The fresh interior now boasts a single-piece panel that comprises a 12.3-inch driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other features include a dual electronically operated sunroof, folding rear seats, a rear passenger alert system, multi-zone temperature control, and a wireless charging pad, among others. Kia has also given it a wide range of ADAS features.
Kia KA4 (Carnival): Powertrain
While Kia offers a 3.5-litre V6 petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel motor, the India-spec KA4 is expected to continue with the diesel unit mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
