2023 Kia Seltos facelift launched in India; prices start at Rs 10.90 lakh
Kia has launched its much-anticipated 2023 Seltos facelift in India, with prices starting at Rs 10.90 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The SUV is available in a choice of 18 variants under three primary versions: Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line. It made its India debut on 4 July, 2023 and received 13,424 reservations within a day of its bookings commencements. Notably, the mid-cycle facelift has brought a fresh look, a new interior, advanced features, and ADAS to the refreshed Seltos.
The key highlights of the 2023 Seltos facelift include a redesigned grille, new headlights with integrated daytime running lights, reworked front and rear bumper, ice-cube-shaped LED fog lamps, new redesigned bonnet, reshaped taillamps with a spilt light bar, and a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the refreshed interior gets a new dashboard, which houses a new dual-display setup comprising a 10.25-inch driver display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There is also a redesigned centre console, a fresh dual-tone theme, and new upholstery.
Customers can choose from a range of eight paint options. The single-tone shades include Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Clear White, Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White, and India-exclusive Pewter Oliver, while the dual-tone choices are Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl and Intense Red with Aurora Black Pearl. Notably, the X-Line gets a special Matte Graphite colour scheme.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift: FeaturesThe most significant update for the 2023 Seltos facelift come in the form of a panoramic sunroof, ADAS Level 2 âÂ" a suite of 17 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, an electric parking brake with auto hold, and dual-zone temperature control. Additionally, Kia offers 32 safety features, out of which, 15 are available as standard across all variants, including six airbags, hill-hold control, electronic stability control, and vehicle stability management, among others. It is to be noted that only the GT Line and X-Line petrol and diesel variants come with ADAS.
Other interior features include ventilated front seats, wireless charging pad, multi-colour ambient lighting, auto-dimming IRVM, powered boot opening, TPM, ABS with EBD, brake assist, four-wheel disc setup, Kia Connect with smartwatch compatibility, and more.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift: PowertrainPowering the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift is a new 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine producing 160PS and 253Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It also gets a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor that makes 115PS and 143.8Nm of torque. This unit is paired with a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
Last but not least, there is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine coupled to a six-speed iMT or a six-speed automatic transmission. It delivers 116PS and 250Nm of torque.
