2023 Kia Seltos facelift receives more than 30,000 bookings in the first month

Kia India has disclosed that the 2023 Seltos facelift has garnered 31,716 reservations since bookings commenced on July 14, 2023. Notably, approximately 55 percent of these reservations are for higher-spec variants, such as the HTX and above. Furthermore, the India-exclusive Pewter Olive paint option, introduced shortly after the launch, constitutes 19 percent of total bookings. Impressively, the Seltos has proven to be a successful model for the South Korean automaker, having sold over five lakh units since its debut in August 2019. It marked Kia's debut offering in the market.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Introductory Ex-showroom Prices

For the Seltos facelift equipped with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and paired with either a six-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission, prices range from Rs 10.90 to Rs 16.60 lakh. This variant lineup includes HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX AT. Meanwhile, the Seltos facelift with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired with an iMT or DCT starts from Rs 15 lakh and goes up to Rs 20 lakh across variants such as HTK+, HTX+, HTX+ AT, GTX+ AT, and X-Line AT. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine variant with a six-speed iMT or six-speed automatic transmission spans a price range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. This engine variant is available across a broad array of variants, including HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, HTX AT, GTX+ AT, and X-Line AT.

Additionally, the ADAS Level 2 function is offered with the GTX+ and X-Line variants of the 1.5-litre turbo petrol DCT and 1.5-litre diesel six-speed automatic units. These variants are priced at Rs 19.80 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, respectively.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Variants and Colors

The Seltos facelift is available in six variants: HTE, HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus, GTX Plus, and X Line, categorized under three primary trims: Tech Line, GT Line, and X Line. Kia offers the model with eight single-tone and two dual-tone color options, including Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Gravity Grey, Clear White, Glacier White, and Aurora Black Pearl. Additionally, the Matte Graphite paint option is exclusively available for the X Line variant.

Kia Seltos Facelift Features

Key features of the 2023 Seltos facelift include a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch dual display setup, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, and dual-zone temperature control. The SUV is also equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering 17 distinct functions. The brand has highlighted the presence of 15 standard safety features and a total of 32 safety features.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Engine, Power Outputs, and Transmission Options

The Kia Seltos facelift is powered by a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 160PS and 253Nm of torque. This engine, introduced as a replacement for the 1.4-litre turbo petrol, was first seen in the Hyundai Alcazar and subsequently in the all-new Verna and Kia Carens. The SUV also retains the 1.5-litre inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 115PS and 143.8Nm, as well as the 1.5-litre inline four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with outputs of 116PS and 250Nm. Kia offers a range of transmission choices including a six-speed iMT, dual-clutch automatic, torque-convertor automatic, six-speed manual, and CVT automatic.
