2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition teased ahead of launch
Tata Motors has teased the Nexon Red Dark Edition alongside the Safari and Harrier Red Dark Edition. The carmaker recently posted two video teasers on its official YouTube handle showing the Red Dark Edition models of the Safari, Harrier, and Nexon. While the Safari and Harrier Red Dark Edition models were already showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, the Nexon Red Dark Edition has been teased for the first time.
2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition: Design
The Nexon Red Dark Edition will feature an Oberon Black paint job like its on-sale Dark Edition version. In addition to that, the SUV will likely get red inserts on the grille, red brake calipers, and a red finish for the badges on the front fenders. Tata will probably also bestow the Nexon Red Dark edition with a redesigned grille similar to the Safari and Harrier Dark Edition.
2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition: Interior
The Red Dark Edition of the Nexon will likely bear a new Carnelian Red leatherette upholstery with quilted-pattern and red accents on the door handles and centre console. However, the highlight of the upcoming special-edition SUV could be a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a seven-inch fully digital instrument cluster that has already been showcased on the Safari and Harrier Dark Editions, along with the Altroz Racer.
2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition: Features
While the Safari and Harrier Red Dark Edition models will boast ADAS, Tata will unlikely to offer it with the Nexon Red Dark Edition. However, the sub-four meter SUV may come equipped with a 360-degree camera and powered driver seat adjustability.
2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition: Powertrain
The Nexon Red Dark Edition will likely be powered by the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine making 120PS/170Nm and 1.5-litre, inline-four, turbo-diesel motor that generates 115PS/260Nm. However, both units will meet the RDE (BS6 phase-2) norms. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic.
