2023 Triumph Street Triple R and Street Triple RS launched; prices start at Rs 10.17 lakh
Triumph, the British marque, has finally launched the 2023 Street Triple 765 R and Street Triple 765 RS in India. The prices of the Street Triple R start at Rs 10,16,000 (ex-showroom), while the Street Triple RS prices start at Rs 11,81,000 (ex-showroom). Several cosmetic changes, a handful of additional features, and above all, increased power outputs are the key highlights of the 2023 streetfighters. The bike maker had previously planned the launch of the Street Triple twins in March, but it cancelled and postponed that.
The most significant update comes to the 765cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. With this, 2023 the Street Triple 765 R delivers 120PS at 11,500rpm and 80Nm of torque at 9,500rpm, whereas 2023 the Street Triple 765 RS generates 130PS at 12,000rpm and 80Nm of torque at 9,500rpm. With a new free-flowing exhaust, Triumph has also revised the gear ratios and the final drive assembly of the Street Triple R and Street Triple RS to enhance performance.
2023 Triumph Street Triple R And Street Triple RS: StylingThe 2023 Street Triple R and Street Triple RS do not come with any significant changes in terms of design, but feature only several styling updates. The 2023 Street Triple pair is now sportier and more aggressive than their predecessor, thanks to a new fly screen, a raised tail section, a smaller and sculpted fuel tank, and reshaped fuel tank extensions.
Moreover, Triumph offers new colour options with the 2023 Street Triple R and Street Triple RS. The 2023 Street Triple R can be had in Silver Ice and Crystal White, while the 2023 Street Triple RS is available in three paint options: Silver Ice, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow.
2023 Triumph Street Triple R And Street Triple RS: Features and SpecsThe Street Triple R and RS come equipped with a new 12mm wider handlebar, traction control, and cornering ABS. The settings of these systems can also be adjusted as needed. Other features include a five-inch TFT console (RS-only), a bi-directional quick shifter, Showa forks and monoshock, Ohlins monoshock (RS-only), Brembo M4.32 310mm dual brake callipers and 220mm single disc (R-specific), 310mm twin Brembo Stylema brake callipers with a single 220mm disc at the rear (RS-only), and 17-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels on both ends. Plus, the Street Triple R offers four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider, while the Street Triple RS has five riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, Track, and Rider. Meanwhile, the seat height for the R and RS is rated at 836mm and 826mm, respectively.

The 2023 Street Triple 765 R prices start from Rs 10,17,000, while the 2023 Street Triple 765 RS comes with a sticker price of Rs 11,81,000 (ex-showroom). In India, the 2023 Street Triple R and Street Triple RS take on the likes of the Ducati Monster, BMW F 900 R, and Kawasaki Z900. Meanwhile, the previous Street Triple R and Street Triple RS were priced at Rs 9.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 11.35 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
