2023 Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 launched with two new colours at Rs 1.29 lakh
As a part of its brand campaign, called 'The Call of the Blue', India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has launched the FZ-S FI V4 at Rs 1,28,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) with two new colour options, namely Dark Matte Blue and Matte Black. With this, the bike maker expects to widen its customer base and boost sales around the festive season. Customers can further choose from the three colour options of the FZ-S FI V4 Deluxe, such as Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, and Metallic Black.
Yamaha FZ-S FI V4: PowertrainPowering the FZ-S FI V4 is a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled two-valve SOHC engine that makes 12.4PS of maximum power at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. This motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Notably, it meets the new BS6 phase two (OBD.2) emission regulations and can also run on E20 fuel blend.
Yamaha FZ-S FI V4: Features and specifications
The motorcycle gets an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for the Y-Connect app, which shows call/SMS alerts and phone battery status. The helps to track fuel consumption and last parking location, among others. It also features a Traction Control System (TCS), single-channel ABS, and an LED headlight. In terms of harware, the FZ-S FI V4 is fitted with a 282mm single front disc brake, a 220mm rear disc brake, a 100/80-17 section fron tyre, a 140/60R-17 section radial tyre, conventional telescopic front forks, and a rear monoshock.
