2025 Audi A3 facelift: Design

The A3 facelift features a redesigned hexagonal, frameless grille, which is wider and flatter than before. It also gets redesigned headlights, a new bumper with large air inlets, daytime running lights with four customisable light signatures. In addition, the rear end, inspired by the RS3, features a new bumper, reworked taillights, and black inserts. Audi has given the A3 facelift new paint schemes, namely District Green, Ascari Blue, and Progressive Red. On the other hand, the A3 allstreet, a crossover model, comes with several off-road design elements, such as roof rails, dark rocker side skirts, larger wheels, and an increased ground clearance. For both models, 18-inch and 19â€'inch wheels are available as an option.

As with the A3 facelift Sportback, the luggage compartment has a capacity of 380 litres, and up to 1,200 litres with the rear seat folded. Optional features include an electric tailgate, a removable tow hitch, and a storage and trunk package.

2025 Audi A3 facelift: Interior

The interior of the A3 has also undergone significant enhancements. The new updates include a new blade design for air-con vents, redesigned centre console, and new gear selector design. Moreover, the brand has expanded the standard equipment, featuring a three-spoke leather steering wheel, air conditioning, front centre armrest, and an ambient light package.

Additionally, the interior lighting has been improved, with contour lighting running around the centre console and illuminated cup holders. One new design element is that the insides of the front doors are backlit. The fabric panel was laser-cut 300 times to enable this feature. The new Sonos sound system with large speakers enhances the audio experience. Meanwhile, the A3 facelift now offers two fabric inlays, including a textured fabric that is made from recycled polyester and Dinamica microfiber.

While the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 12.3-inch driver display are carried over, Audi has bestowed the A3 facelift with the latest iteration of its MMI. The pre sense front, collision avoidance, and turn assist, and lane departure warning are offered as standard. Additionally, there are also four USB Type-C ports in the front and rear. It is to be noted that adaptive cruise assist, high-beam assist, and two-zone temperature control are available as optional extras in some markets.

2025 Audi A3 facelift: Engine

In Europe, the A3 facelift models will initially be available in two engine options. Firstly, there is a 35 TFSI 1.5-litre petrol engine with 150PS and mated to seven-speed automatic transmission and mild hybrid assistance, secondly, a 35 TDI diesel motor with 150PS and coupled to a seven-speed automatic unit. More petrol and diesel versions of the A3 Sportback and A3 sedan will follow in the second quarter. A plug-in hybrid model will be added to the range at the end of the year.
