2024 Audi Q7 facelift breaks cover
Audi has pulled the wraps off the 2024 Q7 and SQ7 facelifts, marking a second consecutive facelift update for its biggest SUV. This second mid-cycle update brings advanced headlights, fresh colours, new wheels, decorative inlays, and updated MMI system with support to third-party apps. But it carries over the same powertrains as the previous model. That being said, the 2024 Q7 can now be ordered in Europe starting from 79,300 euros. For India, the 2024 Q7 could arrive by the first half of this year.
The updated Q7 gets a revised octagonal-shaped grille and optional HD Matrix LED headlights with laser technology for the first time. The grille now features vertical inlays. Here the base trim gets teardrop shape and comes in the L-pattern in the S line and SQ7 TFSI. Plus, there are redesigned front and rear bumpers, and digital OLED taillights with proximity indication function and four light patterns.
New colours for the 2024 Audi Q7 include: Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. In addition, the wheel range offers a choice of five new designs in sizes between 20- and 22-inches. Plus, Black Metallic, Grey Silk Matte with glossy black inlays or even diamond-cut Black Metallic options are available for 21-inch and larger wheels.
On the inside, Audi has given it new interior trims: Natural Elm Burl Silver for the base model, Matte Carbon Twill, and Matte Brushed Aluminum with linear embossing in silver for the S line sport package, and SQ7. The base model grey seams for the seat trim as standard. Also, for the first time, owners can now use popular third-party apps, such as Spotify or Amazon Music, on their infotainment system. A store with a market-specific app portfolio has also been expanded in the third-generation modular infotainment toolkit (MIB 3), says the brand.
The Audi Virtual Cockpit display now shows various warnings from advanced driver assistance systems, such as a lane change warning, other road users (trucks, cars, and motorcycles), distance warning, intersection assist, and traffic light information online in full HD quality. The 360deg camera has also been updated.
2024 Audi Q7 facelift: Powertrain
The Q7 45 TDI, Q7 50 TDI, and Q7 55 TFSI carry the same power outputs, eight-speed automatic transmission, quattro all-wheel-drive system, and mild-hybrid functionality as their predecessors. Whereas, the top-rung SQ7 comes equipped with the 4.0-litre V8 producing 507PS and 770Nm of torque.
