2024 Force Gurkha launched in India at Rs 16.75 lakh
The 2024 Force Gurkha series has been released in India at Rs 16.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The Gurkha now comes in a 5-door variant with additional equipment, a more powerful engine, and more seating. Bookings have begun for a token amount of Rs 25,000, and deliveries are slated to begin in mid-May.

2024 Force Gurkha 5-door: Rs 18 lakh
2024 Force Gurkha: DesignThe 2024 Gurkha 5-door has the same boxy form and style as the 3-door Gurkha. It has spherical LED projector headlights with DRLs, as well as fog lamps on the front bumper. Both variants now get 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with a 10-spoke design. The 5-door variant has a substantially larger wheelbase at 2,825mm to accommodate the third row, which has captain seats in the last row.
2024 Force Gurkha: Engine and 4x4
A standard 2.6-litre 4-cylinder diesel does duties in the powertrain department. Maximum power and torque figures are rated at 140PS and 320Nm, respectively. There is no automatic transmission available on offer, just an old-school 5-speed manual.
The car sits on a ladder-frame chassis and comes standard with front and rear differential locks. It also gets anti-roll bars for the front and rear and while the front brakes are discs, the rear is equipped with drum brakes. Both versions have a water-wading capacity of 700mm.
2024 Force Gurkha: Interior and Features
The Features list includes a 9-inch Android-based touchscreen, Type-A charging ports, a 12V outlet, tilt-adjust steering, power windows, LED lighting and central locking. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS, TPMS, three-point seatbelts for all but the middle second-row passenger and a reversing camera.
