2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift: What should you expect?
Hyundai Motor India will launch the 2024 Alcazar facelift today, with bookings already open for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The prices for the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar are expected to range between Rs 16.90-17 lakh and Rs 21.80-22 lakh, compared to the outgoing model's prices, which range from Rs 16.77-21.28 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Alcazar facelift boasts a distinct design while still sharing similarities with its siblings, such as the Creta, Santa Fe, and Exter. The front end features a Creta-like bumper and headlights, but the H-shaped daytime running lights are reminiscent of the Santa Fe and Exter. Notably, the front is more upright and elevated compared to the pre-facelift model. The rear has also been redesigned with new taillamps and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
There will be four variants of the Alcazar facelift: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. The model will be available in nine colours, including a new Robust Emerald Matte shade. Hyundai has introduced the new entry-level Executive variant, which was not available with the previous Alcazar.
Inside, the cabin resembles the Creta facelift but features a new dual-tone colour theme in Noble Brown and Haze Navy Blue. The layout has been significantly updated compared to the outgoing Alcazar, with a single panel housing two 10.25-inch screensâÂ"one for the touchscreen infotainment system and the other for the all-digital instrument cluster. Other updates include a revamped centre console, new air-conditioning controls, dual-zone temperature control, a new "boss mode," a powered driver's seat with memory settings, USB Type-C and Type-A sockets, and ventilated second-row seats (only in six-seater variants).
Additionally, the Alcazar gets winged headrests for the rear seats and improved padding for the captain seats. The seven-seater variants feature a one-touch seat-fold option for easier third-row access. The second-row seats now come with two USB Type-C charging ports and a wireless charging pad.
