2024 Hyundai Exter Knight Edition launched; price starts at Rs 8.38 lakh
On the occasion of its Exterior SUV, Hyundai has launched the new Exter Knight Edition in India with prices starting at Rs 8,38,000 (ex-showroom). The Knight Edition model is based on the SX and SX (O) variants of the standard Exter. For Hyundai, the Exter has been a successful offering, with over 93,000 units sold since its market debut.
Like the Creta Knight and Venue Knight edition models, the Exter receives cosmetic updates to its exterior, such as black painted side sill garnish, red accents on the front bumper and boot, front and rear skidplate in black, red brake callipers, 15-inch black alloy wheels, darkened Hyundai logo and Exter lettering, and Knight badges.
On the inside, the Exter Knight gets an all-black theme paired with red inserts, red footwell lighting, door handles and steering in satin black, metal scuff plate, floor matts with red stitching, and special seat upholstery with red stitching and piping.
Hyundai Exter Knight: Colours
Hyundai offers the Exter Knight edition in five single-tone and two dual-tone colours: Starry Night, Atlas White, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Shadow Grey (new) alongside Ranger Khaki with abyss black roof and Shadow grey with abyss black roof (new).
The regular Exter, on the other hand, comes with seven variants: EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect. It gets Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Cosmic Blue, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and Starry Night single-tone paint schemes along with Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black, Cosmic Blue with Abyss Black, and Atlas Black with Abyss Black dual-tone shades.
Hyundai Exter Knight: Engine optionsThe Exter Knight comes powered by the 1.2-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 83PS and 114Nm of torque. This motor is coupled to a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT transmission. As claimed, the Exter MT can give out a mileage of 19.4kmpl, while the Exter AMT returns a fuel efficiency of 19.2kmpl.
