2024 Jawa Perak, 42 Bobber launched in India
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced the updated Perak and 42 Bobber with prices starting at Rs 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The new dual-tone Perak carries over the same price as the on-sale model. For the MY2024, the Perak gets a new paint scheme and a variety of major upgrades, while the 42 Bobber boasts two new alloy wheels variants. The latter has also received a price drop.
The 2024 Perak features a new stealth dual-tone colour scheme, which brings a blend of matte grey and matte black shades. Additionally, it gets brass tank badging with 'Perak' lettering instead of 'Jawa' and fuel filler cap along with a new quilted tan seat. Jawa has also re-positioned its front footpegs, moving them forward by 155mm. Not to mention, the 2024 Perak boasts a new seven-step pre-load adjustable rear monoshock.
Powering the 42 Perak is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 29.9PS at 7,500rpm and 30Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
2024 Jawa 42 Bobber: Highlights
Jawa has introduced two new variants of the 2024 42 Bobber, namely Mystic Copper and Jasper Red, equipped with dual-tone alloy wheels. The alloy wheels variants command a premium over their corresponding wire-spoke wheel variants. Notably, the 42 Bobber Mystic Copper alloy wheels costs Rs 2,19,900 (ex-showroom), while the 42 Bobber Jasper Red alloy wheels has been priced at Rs 2,19,950 (ex-showroom). Although the 2024 42 Bobber does not come with any mechanical changes, Jawa has dropped the price of its base Moonstone White variant and that now costs Rs 2,09,500 (ex-showroom).
The 2024 42 Bobber continues with the 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 29.92PS and 32.74Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
