2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 launched in India at Rs 7.77 lakh
The 2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 has been launched in India at Rs 7.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Notably, the price has seen no revision and hence it is the same as the previous model. For the model year update, the middleweight adventure tourer has received two new colours, namely Metallic Matte Dark Grey and Metallic Flat Spark Black. Everything else remains unchanged otherwise.
Kawasaki has given the Versys 650 various features, such as a 4.3-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, LED lighting, a USB port, a slip-and-assist clutch, dual-channel ABS, and traction control.
Further, it comes with upside down front forks with rebound and pre-load adjustability, a rear offset monoshock with remote pre-load adjustability, dual 300mm front discs, and a single 250mm rear disc. The India-spec model gets a 120/70 ZR17 section front and 160/60 ZR17 section rear tyres. The Versys 650 weighs 219kg and has a seat height of 845mm. Meanwhile, its fuel tank has a capacity of 21 litres.
2024 Kawasaki Versys 650: Engine
Powering the Versys 650 is a 649cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 67PS at 8,500rpm and 61Nm at 7,000rpm. Mated to this motor is a six-speed gearbox.
