2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift real-world mileage, performance figures revealed
The Maruti Suzuki Swift has been the most sought-after hatchback in its segment and the new generation model also continues to be in demand. The latest Swift offers a fresh design, revamped interior, additional features, and a new engine. With that said, we recently tested the hatchback and here the real-world fuel economy and performance figures.
Maruti Suzuki Swift real-world mileageWe carried out the test on the Swift five-speed manual gearbox variant that returned a mileage of 19.2kmpl in the city and 25.7kmpl on the highway. The overall fuel efficiency stood at 20.8kmpl.

With the same powertrain configuration, the new Swift took 12.8 seconds to go from zero to 100kmph. In terms of in gear acceleration, it achieved 30-50kmph in 4.0 seconds, 50.70kmph in 5.8 seconds, and 60-80kmph in 8.4 seconds. On the other hand, the hatchback took 3.7 seconds to come to a standstill from 100kmph and covered a distance of 49.4 meters.

The next-gen Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated Z12E petrol engine that delivers 81.58PS and 111.7Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a five-speed manual and an AMT.
