2025 KTM 250 Duke launched at Rs 2.45 lakh
KTM India has introduced the 2025 250 Duke at Rs 2,45,115 (ex-showroom). With this, the new model commads a marginal price hike over the previous version of the motorcycle. That said, this new Duke 250 bears a strong resemblance to its elder sibling, the new 390 Duke in terms of design.
2025 KTM 250 Duke HighlightsThe new 250 Duke uses a split-trellis frame and has a kerb weight of 162.8kg. The frame is paired with upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. There is a 320mm single front disc and a 240mm single rear disc. Moreover, the new 250 Duke has a seat height of 800mm, which can go up to 820mm with an optional accessory. Then, it has a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.
KTM has equipped the new 250 Duke with the five-inch colour TFT display, switchable and dual-channel ABS, a type-C charging socket, Bluetooth connectivity, two riding modes (Street and Track), and new switchgear.
2025 KTM 250 Duke Engine SpecificationsPowering the 250 Duke is the same 250cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing 31PS at 9,250rpm and 25Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox, which now gets a bi-directional quickshifter.
In other news, KTM recently introduced the new AMT transmission, which eliminates the need for using clutch. But rider can still manually shift gears either using switches on the handlebar or using the traditional gear pedal. The KTM AMT transmission features six gears, including parking and neutral modes.
On the other hand, the company is readying a range of new models for the global debut in the coming wees, inclduing three versions based on the 1390cc engine and two based on the 990cc platform. It will also introduce a new display for high-end motorcycles.
