2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 & 1200 RS make global debut
Triumph Motorcycles recently introduced the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 globally. The modern-classic motorcycle, available in two trims: base and RS, brings various changes across the board. In the United Kingdom, they have been priced at £12,495 and £14,495.
The new Speed Twin 1200 and 1200 RS feature noticeable styling updates to keep them looking fresh, such as an all-black engine casing, a new fuel filler cap and fuel tank, a new daytime running light and headlamp unit, new wheels, and a new exhaust. Even the foot pegs are new and have different placement on the base and RS trims. The handlebar on the base Speed Twin 1200 is moved further for a more relax and upright posture, while the foot pegs on the RS have been moved up and back for the sporty position. The seat height for the base and RS stand at 805mm and 810mm, respectively.
The twins also borrow an LCD display and switchgear from its siblings, namely the Trident 660, Tiger 660, and Daytona 660. They come in two colour options: Crystal White with Sapphire Black and Carnival Red with Sapphire Black, while the Speed 1200 RS is available in Baja Orange and Sapphire Black paint jobs. For the base trim, there is also a more classically inspired Aluminium Silver shade with discreet '1200' numbering and dual black stripes.
