All-new upcoming Honda Elevate SUV: What do we know so far?
Honda recently revealed the name of its upcoming new SUV, the Elevate, which will enter one of the most dominated car segments in India. Notably, it will make its global debut in June 2023. While the carmaker has already teased the all-new Elevate SUV, there are also a bunch of spy pictures of the upcoming SUV on the internet. Here we tell you everything you need to know about the Elevate.
All-new upcoming Honda Elevate SUV: Design
If the teaser and spy pictures are to go by, the new Honda Elevate is likely to bear an imposing stance dominated by an upright fascia, subtle body cladding, muscular wheel arches, and sharp cuts and creases. It could come with a large grille, slim LED headlights and DRLs, roof rails, door-mounted ORVMs, and LED rear lights.
All-new upcoming Honda Elevate SUV: Interior
We expect Honda to offer a dual-tone theme interior with the all-new Elevate SUV. In addition, the cabin could come with a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, USB Type-C fast charging ports, a wireless charging pad, a multifunctional steering wheel, and ventilated front seats, among others. Honda may also provide leatherette or leather upholstery.

It terms of features, the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV is likely to get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic or electric sunroof, a 360deg camera, six airbags, ESP, hill hold control, hill descent control, four-wheel disc brakes, connected car tech, smartwatch connectivity, electronic parking brake with auto hold, multiple driving modes, and cruise control.
All-new upcoming Honda Elevate SUV: Engine and Transmission
Powering the all-new Elevate is likely to be two engine options: a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121PS and 145Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain that generates 126PS and 253Nm. The former is mated to a six-speed manual and a CVT, while the latter is coupled to an e-CVT. If the Elevate comes with these engine options, it could offer claimed mileage similar to the City (17.8kmpl MT and 18.4kmpl AT) and City e:HEV hybrid (26.5kmpl).
All-new upcoming Honda Elevate SUV: Rivals and Prices
Upon launch, Honda's Elevate SUV will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor. The prices could start around Rs 10-11 lakh and go up to Rs 17-18 lakh.
