Amrit Baid succeeds Pradeep Srinivas as Head of Marketing and Customer Experience
Mercedes-Benz India has announced an organizational shift in its Sales and Marketing division. Amrit Baid has been named as the new Head of Marketing and Customer Journey, effective February 1, 2024. He is presently employed at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia's Region Overseas Marketing team in Kuala Lumpur.
Baid replaces Pradeep Srinivas, who will now relocate to Mercedes-Benz Headquarters as Manager of Digital Marketing Solutions & Data Analytics at Mercedes-Benz Digital.
Pradeep Srinivas joined Mercedes-Benz in 2011 and is now responsible for the Marketing department. During his tenure, he successfully launched an online sales program that served as the cornerstone for various innovative online sales strategies. He was crucial in pushing several new product introductions in India, as well as significant marketing campaigns and the establishment of an Indian data and analytics team.
Amrit Baid started his career with Mercedes-Benz India in 2013 through the CAReer program. During his time in India, he oversaw numerous successful marketing campaigns, assisted with the launch of several goods, and introduced several digital products and innovations. Amrit joined the Region Overseas Marketing team in Malaysia in 2021, where he is responsible for Digital Customer Experience.
By integrating and optimizing multiple digital touchpoints, he was important in greatly enhancing the customer experience. Amrit was also instrumental in assisting several marketing teams across geographies Overseas in reviewing the customer experience and increasing efficiency. He was also heavily involved in assisting marketing teams in a number of countries as they implemented the new 'Direct to Customer' business model.
