Aston Martin Vantage officially launched in India at Rs 3.99 crore
Aston Martin updated the Vantage for 2024 in February and the car has now arrived at our shores with a price tag of Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom). The British brand has not only reworked the car's exterior but the interior too now gets a complete overhaul. However, the biggest update comes under the hood, as the Vantage now produces an additional 155PS and 115Nm of torque from its AMG-sourced engine.
The engine in the new Vantage is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with the same layout, capacity, and AMG lineage as its predecessor. Although, it has had various internal changes to improve performance, including new turbos, as well as considerably improved cooling. The engine now produces a total of 665PS and 800Nm of torque which is a 30 percent and 15 percent raise over the outgoing model, respectively.
The V8 is paired with the 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox, which transfers power to the rear wheels via an electromechanical limited-slip differential. The final-drive ratio for the transmission has also been reduced, which improves acceleration further. The new Aston can go from 0 to 100kph in 3.4 seconds and peak out at 325kph.
Aston also says the car's numerous traction-management modes, launch control system, and electronic power steering have all been tweaked to improve performance and driver involvement. All of this technology comes to a halt with a braking system that includes front 400mm steel rotors with six-piston callipers and rear 360mm rotors with four-piston callipers. A set of carbon ceramics is optional.
Aston Martin Vantage: Exterior and Interior updatesThe departing Vantage was already a lovely machine from a visual perspective, so we're not surprised that cosmetic modifications are minimal. The front end will get a redesigned bumper and fenders to wrap around standard LED headlights, as well as a significantly wider radiator grille. The Vantage will come with 21-inch Michelin Pilot S 5 tyres as standard.
The inside has also seen a lot of remodelling. If you prefer performance over elegance, you may replace the leather seats with lightweight carbon-fibre options. The new car has received comparable modifications to the DB12, including a reworked centre console that lifts at a shallow angle to reveal a new touch-sensitive 10.25-inch infotainment screen. The 2025 Vantage is equipped with a new Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
