Ather commences customer deliveries of Rizta e-scooter
Ather Energy has commenced deliveries of the Rizta electric scooter in select cities across India, as announced via its social media handles. The first batch of customer deliveries has started in Delhi, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Agra, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Andhra Pradesh. Ather will begin deliveries in other parts of the country in the coming weeks.
The Rizta features a large seat and a single-piece grab rail, paired with an optional cushioned backrest. The e-scooter also comes with a 34-litre under-seat storage compartment. It includes an under-seat wireless charger for the Ather Halo smart helmet and accessories.
Optional accessories include a boot storage organiser that doubles as a carry bag and a 22-litre frunk mounted on the apron, increasing the total storage to 56 litres. Additionally, the scooter features a multi-purpose charging port compatible with various devices, such as smartphones and laptops. It can also wade through water up to 400mm.
Further, the Rizta boasts the 'Ather SkidControl' feature, a traction control system to prevent wheel spin on slippery surfaces. It offers two riding modes: Smart Eco and Zip. The Z variant also includes 'Magic Twist' and regenerative braking. Other notable features include hill hold, reverse mode, and fall safe.
Ather offers the Z variant with a seven-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, similar to the 450X. The S variant gets a 'deepview' LCD display, akin to the 450S.
Ather Rizta: Variants, prices & rangeThe Rizta comes in two variants: S and Z. The S variant, with a 2.9kWh battery and a 123km range, is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The Rizta Z, with the same battery unit, costs Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, the Rizta Z is available with a larger 3.7kWh battery pack, offering a range of 160km, and is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Both battery options are coupled to a 4.3kW electric motor.
