Ather Rizta e-scooter bookings open ahead of launch
Ather Energy has initiated pre-bookings for the Rizta ahead of its scheduled launch at the Ather Community Day 2024 on April 6, 2024. Prospective customers can reserve their Rizta by paying a token amount of Rs 999. This family-focused e-scooter has been teased and spotted testing on multiple occasions. Ather claims that the Rizta will feature the largest seat ever fitted to any scooter to date. Additionally, the brand is expected to provide a more expansive under-seat storage area, surpassing the 22-litre boot space of the 450X.
Ather Rizta: FeaturesThe Rizta electric scooter will come equipped with an all-digital display similar to the 450X or 450S. Additionally, it could get all-LED lighting, ride modes, Bluetooth connectivity, single disc brakes at both ends, telescopic front forks, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and fall-safe technology, among other features. Ather also plans to include some new features on the e-scooter, such as an anti-skid function.
Ather Rizta: Range, Battery, and Charging
While Ather currently offers the 450 lineup with two battery pack options (2.9kWh and 3.7kWh), the new Rizta electric scooter is expected to feature a larger battery pack offering an extended range compared to existing Ather scooters. However, it may not prioritise performance as much as the 450X or 450 Apex models.
New Ather Rizta: PricingThe anticipated price range for the Rizta is between Rs 1.10 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh. Upon its launch, the electric scooter will compete with models such as the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Hero Vida V1.
