Ather Rizta electric scooter launched: All you need to know

The Ather Rizta electric scooter was recently launched at the Ather Community Day 2024. The family-oriented electric scooter with prices starting at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). It comes with two variants, namely S and Z across two battery options.

Ather Rizta: Range & price

Available in single- and dual-tone colours, the Rizta comes in two variants: S and Z. The S with a 2.9kWh battery and 123km range has been priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Rizta Z with the same battery unit costs Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Then, the Rizta Z is also available with a larger 3.7kWh battery pack, offering a range of 160km, priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The batteries are coupled to a 4.3kW electric motor.

Ather Rizta: Highlights

The Rizta gets a large seat and a single-piece grabrail paired with an optional cushioned backrest. The e-scooter also comes with a 34-litre under-seat storage. Additionally, the scooter features an under-seat wireless charger for the Ather Halo smart helmet and accessories. Optional accessories include a boot storage organiser that doubles as a carry bag, and a 22-litre frunk mounted on the apron, increasing the total storage to 56 litres. Additionally, it features a multi-purpose charging port compatible with various devices, such as smartphones and laptops. Meanwhile, it can wade through water up to 400mm.

Further, the Rizta boasts the 'Ather SkidControl' feature, which is a traction control system to prevent wheel spin on slippery surfaces. Plus, there are two riding modes: Smart Eco and Zip. The Z variant also gets 'Magic twist' and regen braking. Other notable features include hill hold, reverse mode, and fall safe. Ather offers the Z variant with a seven-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation like the 450X, while the S variant gets a 'deepview' LCD display similar to the 450S.
