Audi Q8 e-tron makes global debut
The Audi Q8 e-Tron, which will be offered in four various versions including the Q8 e-Tron, Q8 e-Tron Sportback, SQ8 e-Tron, and SQ8 e-Tron Sportback, has finally been unveiled by Audi. New battery packs are added to the new Q8 e-Tron family, enhancing both their performance and range.
In terms of appearance, the Q8 e-Tron has a new front grille. The LED bar and the taillights have been modified at the back. Redesigned alloy wheels are another element of the SUV.
The Q8 e-tron from Audi comes with Quattro all-wheel drive as standard equipment and is offered with three different drivetrain options. Two electric motors power the base Audi Q8 50 e-tron model, which has a 95kWh battery pack and produces 337PS and 664 Nm.
Additionally, the middle Audi Q8 55 e-tron model will have two electric motors with a combined 404PS and 664 Nm of torque. With a 114kWh battery pack in charge, it will have a 531 km range on a single charge.
The top-of-the-line, high-performance Audi SQ8 e-tron will have three electric motors that can produce a maximum of 504PS and a maximum torque of 973 Nm.
At a DC charging station, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 31 minutes, giving it a range of up to 386 kilometres. An 11kW AC charger may also be used to power the electric SUV. The firm provides an optional 22kW AC charging upgrade.
The Q8 e-Tron has just minor interior upgrades, and Audi claims that the dashboard is made of recyclable materials. The digital driving display, a 10-inch infotainment screen, and the third screen for temperature control features are all included in the Q8 e-three Tron's displays.
In India, the new model is anticipated to debut in 2023. The SUV will face competition from the BMW iX, Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-Pace
