Audi Q8 facelift launched in India at Rs 1.17 crore
Audi India has just launched the updated Q8 SUV in India at Rs 1.17 crore (ex-showroom). While the car remains mechanically unchanged, there are a couple of tweaks made to the exterior and interior of the car as well as some new colours to choose from.
Powering the Q8 facelift is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged engine producing 340PS and 500Nm of torque. This motor benefits from 48V mild hybrid functionality. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive. The SUV can hit 100kmph in 5.6 seconds and can hit a top speed of 250kmph.

The updated India-spec Q8 will be available in a choice of eight colour options: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige. Key exterior highlights include a redesigned frame, updated headlights, daytime driving lights with animations, new bumpers, new OLED taillights with animations, a new 2D logo, and a new set of 5-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels. The rear lights of the Q8 facelift are turned on automatically if vehicles come within 2 metres of its range from behind when stationary.
Audi Q8 facelift: Interior & Features
Inside, the interior layout of the Q8 facelift closely resembles its predecessor, except for new upholstery and colour themes. The interior of the India-bound model will be offered in four themes: Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Grey. Audi offers it with a 360-degree camera, lane-changing monitor, a panoramic sunroof, an updated MMI system, support for new Amazon Music and Spotify apps, four-zone temperature control, a heads-up display and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Audi Q8 facelift: RivalsThe Q8 facelift doesn't have any direct competitors in India at the moment with the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe no longer offered in the country. The coupe SUV from Audi will serve as an alternative to cars like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE which are priced very similarly.
