Audi to offer e-tron EV in multiple variants - e-tron 50, 55 and Sportback 55
Audi e-tron is going to be launched in the Indian market on July 22. While the variant options in the EV space are limited, Audi India claims to offer the largest range of variants in its segment, including different body styles. The e-tron will be offered in 50, 55 and Sportback 55 trims. Both the e-tron 55 and Sportback 55 will offer 400PS and 664 Nm of torque.
All the variants of the e-tron will come equipped with the standard Quattro system with an electric motor at each axle. In the e-tron 50, the power output is capped at 310PS and 540 Nm of torque. Along with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the e-tron also gets progressive steering, adaptive air suspension, four-zone climate control and Matrix LED headlights as standard.
Talking of range and charging, the Audi e-tron 50 offers a range of 264 - 379 km on a single charge, courtesy of its 71 kWh battery pack. On the other hand, both the e-tron 55 and Sportback 55 make use of a 95 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 359 - 484 km. The Audi e-tron will take on the likes of the Mercedes-EQ EQC and Jaguar I-Pace. The Audi e-tron Sportback will be the only electric coupe-SUV in India that will be sold alongside the standard model. Audi will reveal the prices of the e-tron range on July 22.Â
