Bajaj launches the Dominar 250 with dual-tone colour options

Bajaj is offering the new Dominar 250 in three dual-tone colours at no extra cost.

Bajaj Auto recently announced a price cut for the Dominar 250 range, making it a lot more affordable. The new dual-tone colour options add flavour to the plain colours. The interesting point to note is that buyers do not have to shell out more for the dual-tone colours as the price is as is, at Rs 1.54 lakh ex-showroom.

Talking of colour options, the Dominar 250 is offered with three dual-tone shades - Racing Red + Matt Silver, Citrus Rush + Matt Silver and Sparkling Black + Matt Silver. The dual-tone models don't carry any mechanical changes compared to the regular model. Bajaj Dominar 250 continues to get the 248.8cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC motor that churns out 27PS and 23.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and USD forks at the front have also been offered.

The quarter-litre bike segment has become all the more accessible than before. We saw a considerable price cut on the Dominar 250 a couple of months back. On the other hand, Yamaha also slashed the prices of its FZ 25 model range, making it the most affordable 250cc motorcycle in the Indian market. Talking about the rivals, Bajaj Dominar 250 takes on the likes of the Yamaha FZ 25, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and KTM Duke 250. Unlike its rivals, the Dominar 250 is more steered towards long-distance touring rather than sheer agility and outright performance.
