Base Ford Endeavour Titanium discontinued, range now starts from Rs 33.80 lakh
Ford Endeavour is one of the more popular full-size SUVs in the Indian market. Largely due to muted demand, Ford India has taken the base Titanium trim of the Endeavour off the shelves. The Titanium trim was only offered with the 4x2 drivetrain and limited features. It missed out on panoramic sunroof, electric passenger seat, power-folding last row seating, driver knee airbag, ambient lighting, auto park assist, front parking sensors and more. Thanks to the limited features on offer, the Titanium 4x2 AT was priced at Rs 29.99 lakh.
As the Titanium trim is discontinued, the Endeavour range now starts from Rs 33.80 lakh that is for the 4x2 AT. The Titanium+ 4x4 AT is priced at Rs 35.60 lakh whereas the Sport 4x4 AT is priced at Rs 36.25 lakh. Talking of the powertrain, the Endeavour comes with a sole 170PS 2.0-litre diesel engine mated to a 10-speed torque converter gearbox. Read our review of the Ford Endeavour BS6 here. Before the BS6 era, the Endeavour was powered by 3.2-litre and 2.2-litre diesel engines.
Talking of features, the Endeavour comes equipped with 8.0-inch SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Ford Pass, cruise control with limiter, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, auto park, front parking sensors, terrain mode selection and more. Ford Endeavour is due for a generation change in 2022 and India launch is expected in a similar timeline. The Ford Endeavour takes on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and Isuzu MU-X.
