Base Skoda Kushaq Active Peace variant launched, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh
Following the top-spec Kushaq Monte Carlo, Skoda India has now launched a new base variant for the Skoda Kushaq. This is called the Kushaq Active Peace and sits below the earlier Active variant in the line-up, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh.
2022 Skoda Kushaq Active Peace features, changesThe Skoda Kushaq Active Peace is still reasonably well-equipped. Features include steering-mounted controls, climate control, electrically-adjustable outer mirrors, fabric seats, central locking and dual airbags.
The exterior of the Kushaq Active Peace is characterized by 16-inch-steel wheels, halogen lamps and black body cladding and single-tone paint. Missing features as compared to the base Active variant are rear AC vents, height-adjustable driver's seat and a touchscreen.
2022 Skoda Kushaq Active Peace engine, specifications
The new base Kushaq can only be had with the 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol. This pairs with a six-speed manual only and puts out 115PS and 178 Nm. The larger 1.5-litre motor is only available from the Ambition trim onwards.
2022 Skoda Kushaq Active Peace price, rivalsThe Skoda Kushaq Active Peace is the only variant to duck under the Rs 10 lakh mark. It rivals similar bare-bones spec variants of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, as well as higher-spec sub-four-metre SUV from the Nissan Magnite/Renault Kiger turbo variants onwards.
