Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid gets sustainability-themed Odyssean Edition
Having recently debuted the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid, the luxury carmaker has now introduced a limited-run version of the sedan to commemorate the new model. Termed the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid Odyssean Edition, this special version is meant to showcase Bentley's sustainability goals going forward as part of its EV-only strategy. The Odyssean Edition is trimmed in sustainable materials while incorporating design influences from EXP 100 GT concept car.
Panels in the interiors of the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid Odyssean Edition are done up in tweed from British wool, woven into a specific textile pattern for Bentley. The open-pore Koa wood veneer fascias are finished with 90 per cent less lacquer than usual, with the finish only 0.1mm thick here. The centre console is cased in Piano Linen veneer, while a dedicated three-colour leather scheme uses sustainably sourced leather matched to the 1955 Bentley S1 Flying Spur for durability. There are five other contrasting leather patterns to choose to complement the interior with the diamond quilted stitching now incorporating contrasting threads in an influence from the centenary concept.
On the outside, the chrome accents in the 21-inch wheels bumpers and lighting are now finished in light gold Pale Brodgar accents. These pair with six specific exterior paint choices. Further, the Odyssean Edition comes with a range of features as standard, otherwise optional on the standard Flying Spur hybrid. This includes the Touring specification that adds Bentley's suite of advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, night vision and a head-up display. Also standard is the electrically deployed, illuminated Flying B bonnet mascot
LED welcome lamps, leather headliner and diamond leather upholstery on the doors and rear quarters, the rotating centre console and interior mood lighting.

The e-motor puts out 136 Nm and 400 Nm and is fed by a 15.1 kWh battery pack that can be charged in as little as 2.5 hours. The Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid has a range of 700 km on a full tank of fuel and can do 0 to 100 kmph in 4,3s with the combined 544PS and 750 Nm outputs. Top speed is 285 kmph.
