BGauss RUV 350 launched in India; prices start at Rs 1.10 lakh
BGauss, the Pune-based electric two-wheeler maker, has launched the new electric scooter in India, the RUV 350. Its has been priced atRs 1.10 lakh, Rs 1.25 lakh, and Rs 1.35 lakh (all ex-showroom). The scooter will be available in three variants: RUV 350i EX, RUV 350 EX, and RUV 350 Max. For this, the company is offering introductory benefits of worth Rs 20,000. These include the BG Connect service of Rs 8,000, extended warranty of Rs 6,000, and insurance of Rs 6,000.
To start with, the BGauss RUV 350 features a unique step-through design with minimalist bodywork with the huge 16-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Not only the large tyres stand out from the crowd, but the riders should find it easier to handle rough terrain and bad roads. Additionally, the RUV 350 gets a single-piece seat and a tubular grab rail. It has an under seat storage capacity of 15 litres, footboard storage of 4.5 litres, and 2.2 litres of mobile storage.
BGauss RUV 350: Features
The mid-spec and top-spec variants get the five-inch colour display, cruise control, FOTA, hill hold assist, call notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, and fall sense function. On the flip side, all three variants provide a top speed of 75kmph and get 130mm drum brakes.
BGauss RUV 350: Powertrain
The RUV 350 gets a 3kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 120km in the Eco mode. This battery unit is coupled to a swingarm-mounted 3500W electric motor. Further, there are three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport.
